i help YOUNG ADULTS
thrive by empowering them to create change effectively and sustainably.
I’m Sarah, a 25-year-old Canadian who left her first career path in order to help people thrive. I’m convinced there’s a better way to do this whole life thing – so convinced, in fact, that in 2019 I decided to throw all my career ambitions up to that point out the window, start a coaching business, and go back to school.
To my delight, I found that a whole army of scientists were already validating my suspicions. Enter the positive psychology movement, a field dedicated to understanding how human beings flourish. Because being without illness is not the same as being healthy, and there’s an ocean of difference between feeling like we’re just surviving – like we're going through life on autopilot, - and feeling like we’re thriving – like we're living life on purpose, with confidence, and in fulfillment.
The science shows that there is a better way to live. There are skills we can learn that can help us navigate the storms, set and achieve goals that actually work for us, and feel in control of our own lives. And it matters because the more people are thriving, the more people are acting with compassion, self-awareness, empathy, kindness, confidence, and resilience in their professional and personal lives. When we thrive, we create the conditions for others around us to thrive, too.
So now I coach, helping young adults learn to live in confidence and fulfillment, build lives they love, and navigate the inevitable challenges that arise. Because we are all capable and deserving of feeling capable, confident, and fulfilled, even on our worst days. And I have to say, this whole thriving thing?
Feels damn good.
